Hi, Rollie, and anyone else who may be interested. I have no personal connection to anyone involved in any way to AA 383 or TWA 128, but these two accidents are still pretty vivid from my latter childhood memory (age 11 in 1965, 13 in 1967). My recollection to TWA 128 is much more vivid than AA 383-- two years older, plus the fact that the news coverage of the Great Northeast Blackout the day after 383 crashed probably overshadowed the tragic event of the previous night. The reason I am writing is because I remember reading an article in a July 19-- {edited by Rollie for Sheila's privacy} issue of (Oh, NO!) the National Enquirer in which interviews with about seven of the survivors were located and interviewed. One of the survivors found and interviewed was Sheila O'Brien. She had married some time after the 128 crash, and her name was published in the article as Sheila Sw--{edited by Rollie for Sheila's privacy}, and was living in Dallas TX. Ellie Kurtock apparently had not been located at the time of the Nat. Enq. article. I do not know of the current living (or not) status of Sheila O'Brien Sw-- {edited by Rollie for Sheila's privacy} maybe you do; maybe, if still living, she would prefer her privacy; maybe, she has not seen any websites pertaining to TWA 128. In any event, I hope this tidbit of information might be of some use to you. I think the projects you have been doing for these two previously long-neglected disasters are of the highest of commendable and I'm sure very exhausting, but very rewarding to many. I wish you the best of luck and success in any further endeavors here. A further P.S.-- I was very heartened to hear of Toni Ketchell's more recent life history. I had wondered for many years until I found these websites if she was even alive anymore, but now I know she is and has been very active and instrumental to making air travel much safer for everyone. Sincerely, Chip Pierce

I just found out while doing geneological research that a hitherto unknown relative of mine - Earl Roudybush, second cousin of my maternal grandmother, died on this flight as he was heading to the Pittsburgh area to visit his critically ill father Blair, who died 10 days later himself. How sad. Kathi Sanoba

"My grandparents were killed on this flight,I was 7 at the time.and this is the first time I have read any information about this tragedy. My mother is 73 and remembers this like yesterday.Looking forward to more information!" Anonymously

"Very interesting. My father was one of the 58 that was killed on that flight {AA 383}. Curious as your what prompted you to investigate the crash site." Ken Charron
